Our creative journey and inspiration
Starristry was born from a lifetime of creativity, culture, and community. Growing up between Atlanta’s creative pulse and my family’s legacy of musicians, makers, and innovators, I learned early that art isn't just something you create — it’s something you live. My own journey through fashion, design, and visual art all shaped the foundation of who I am as an artist.
What inspired me to start Starristry was the desire to build a space where people could feel seen, connected, and creatively free. I wanted to merge everything I love — painting, design, storytelling, culture, and community — into an experience that feels intentional, elevated, and soulful. Starristry became the place where all those worlds meet.
I became an artist because creativity has always been the way I move through the world. Long before I had a business or a brand, I was a kid who saw stories in colors, patterns, and the way spaces felt. Art was my escape, my expression, and my way of making sense of everything around me.
My path wasn’t planned — it unfolded. I explored music, fashion, interiors, and hands-on making, not realizing each step was shaping my artistic voice. People would tell me I had a gift for bringing ideas to life and creating things that felt alive. That encouragement pushed me to trust my creativity and share it with others.
Becoming an artist wasn’t a decision; it was a calling that kept showing up until I finally claimed it. Today, my work is rooted in intuition, culture, and the belief that art can shift energy and tell stories without saying a word.
